The weekend is already half-over, and New York Comic Con is still under way. For those of you who couldn't join us in person, or via our live stream, we're going to recap some of the highlights from Friday's shows!
We started the day with a Bravoman x Wonder Momo discussion panel. Bravoman's Matt Moylan and artist Dax Gordine were joined by Wonder Momo co-writer Jim Zub and series artist Omar Dogan! We learned the exciting origins of our recent cross-over comics -- if you missed it, don't worry. We'll be posting clips online at a later date.
After that, Anthony Clark and Christopher Hastings took the stage for another Galaga signing session, followed by a retro tournament where fans had a chance to win a free ShiftyLook t-shirt!
At 2:00 PM, almost all of our guests were present for our special ShiftyLook Meet & Greet. After introducing each of our awesome guests, the writers and artists of our various comics, including famed-voice actor Rob Paulsen, took the time to interact with fans, sign posters and answer questions from the crowd in attendance!
That was followed by our Katamari Panel featuring artists/writers Alex Culang and Raynato Castro. They gave us some unique insight into the series and their unique vision for the series as it progresses.
Finally, we closed out the evening with another installment of ShiftyCast Live! Guests included Destructoid's Dale North, ShiftyLook Producer Rob Pereyda, and the team of Dave Shabet (Deadwinter) and Zach Weinersmith (Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal,) who were present to announce our upcoming Dig Dug interactive web-comic. The new series will allow fans to participate directly and help to shape the series as they vote on different outcomes!
Exciting stuff! Stay tuned for more coverage from the event, and expect to see more from our events as the weekend progresses!
